Lesson 2: The Widow’s Two Coins – A Lesson of Giving and Receiving (Mark 12:41–44)
English:
Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.
They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
- Give: True giving is not measured by numbers, but by sincerity and sacrifice.
- Take: She entrusted herself to God, receiving His care and blessing.

耶穌對著銀庫坐著，看眾人怎樣投錢入庫。有好些財主投了若干的錢。
有一個窮寡婦來，投了兩個小錢，就是一個大錢。
耶穌叫門徒來，對他們說：「我實在告訴你們，這窮寡婦所投的，比眾人所投的更多。
因為他們都是自己有餘，拿出來投在裡頭，但這寡婦是自己不足，把她一切養生的都投上了。」
Give（施）：真正的施與不在於數額，而在於真誠與犧牲。
Take（受）：她把自己交託給上帝，接受祂的照顧與祝福。

第2課：やもめの二つの小銅貨 —— 与えることと受け取ること（マルコの福音書 12:41–44）
日本語：
イエスは献金箱の向かいに座って、人々が献金箱に銅貨を投げ入れる様子を見ておられた。多くの金持ちはたくさん入れていた。
そこに一人の貧しいやもめが来て、レプタ銅貨二枚、すなわち一コドラントを投げ入れた。
イエスは弟子たちを呼び寄せて言われた。「まことに、あなたがたに言います。この貧しいやもめは、献金箱に入れているすべての人よりも多くを投げ入れました。
皆はあり余る中から入れたのに、この女は、乏しい中から、自分の持っているすべて、生活費の全部を投げ入れたからです。」
Give（施）：本当の与えることは金額ではなく、誠実さと犠牲によって量られる。
Take（受）：彼女は自分を神に委ね、神の守りと祝福を受け取った。
